The Independence Palace or Reunification Palace, in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, is a symbol of Vietnamese history and the liberation of the South. It was declared a national historic monument in 1976. All the educational panels have been created with the financial support of Phoenix Voyages and are available in Vietnamese, English and French, to make it easier for visitors to learn about its history.

Phoenix Voyages contributes to the running costs of the “MandaLao” elephant conservation center, the first sanctuary for unmounted elephants in Luang Prabang, Laos. We also organize excursions to the center to raise public awareness of the need to protect the pachyderms.

The Group supports the So Ta Souk Sa school, which caters for around 60 deaf, blind and mute children from poor families living in the mountains in the 7 northern provinces of Laos. Welcomed by Sister Sipaseuth, these children are cared for from primary to secondary school. To help them, we offer groceries.

Since 2005, Phoenix Voyages contributes to the well-being of 160 orphans from the Saint-Paul de Chartres Sisters Orphanage in Hue. Every year-end celebration, we offer food, beverage and various gifts for the children.

Phoenix Voyages has launched an awareness campaign to resolve the issue concerning the rhinoceros poaching. The goal is to inform consumers about the methods of production of the rhinoceros horn powder and its real properties in order to limit its consumption. We really wanted to engage in this cause to raise the consumers’ awareness so as to change their habits.

SOS Village Go Vap (https://sosvietnam.org/) est le plus grand des villages d’enfants de SOS Vietnam, avec 20 maisons familiales pouvant accueillir 180 à 200 enfants. Il a accueilli et continue d’accueillir près de 600 enfants défavorisés. Parmi eux, 133 enfants vivent actuellement dans des familles d’accueil au sein du village. Phoenix Voyages a visité le village SOS de Go Vap et a fait un don de Noël pour les enfants. Chaque année, Phoenix Voyages fait des dons pour aider les familles.

Phoenix Voyages financially supports this project based in Cambodia. It aims to provide uniforms, bags and other school supplies for 150 underprivileged students.

Phoenix Voyages, keen to support the preservation of Vietnam’s ethnic and cultural heritage, sponsored the publication of a beautiful book on the various collections of the Dak Lak Museum. In addition, our President, Mr. Edouard George, donated some rare banknotes from Indochina and Vietnam to become part of the museum’s permanent collection.

For the past years, Phoenix Voyages has financially supported the organization’s annual gala for the benefit of the Carpentier Foundation. In 2016, the event was held on 15th October, at the Reverie Saigon. It has brought together over 300 guests and raised the amount of nearly 180,000 USD in donations, making it possible for many heart surgeries.

The book, “Burmese Shadows” chronicled the two decades that Thierry Falise, a Belgian photojournalist, has spent in uncovering one the most secretive countries in Southeast Asia, Myanmar. Phoenix Voyages helped in financing and promoting this wonderful publication.
