From October 1st 2022 to March 31st 2023, Thailand has increased the period of visa-free stay for foreign arrivals entering the country.
For travelers from countries entitled for visa exemption, the period of stay has been extended to 45 days, and to 30 days for those eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VOA).
A passport with a validity of more than 6 months and a plane ticket to exit Thailand within 45 days of arrival are requested when applying for the mandatory “Certificate of Entry” (COE) at the Thai Embassy of their home country.
