Looking back at the fourth edition of the Ultra-Trail d'Angkor, held on January 19 and 20 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The event organized by SDPO and Phoenix Voyages had more than 1000 participants this year with 42 countries represented: a great success!

What is UTA? It is the opportunity to take part in the most incredible Ultra-trails in the heart of the Angkor temples in Cambodia. These ruins bear witness to the glorious past of the Khmer Empire and are among the most beautiful archaeological and architectural sites on the planet. The UTA is therefore a unique opportunity to explore, during a demanding race, a UNESCO World Heritage site, between lush jungle and temples of incomparable beauty.

1000 runners from all over the world launched themselves more or less early on January 19, from 4am to 9am, to attack the paths of the extraordinary site of the Angkor temples in Cambodia: from the Elephant Terrace, passing around the roots of Ta Prohm or through the gate of Prasat Kravan, along the rice fields or taking the French Bridge... A unique experience that the participants will not forget!

The efforts of the expert team at Phoenix Voyages paid off!

Phoenix Voyages Group has been co-organizing the race since its very first run. Combined with SDPO's sporting experience, the expertise of our Asian specialists allows many runners to take on a sporting challenge while enjoying an unforgettable stay in Cambodia and/or neighbouring countries. The Cambodian operational team is also a valuable help in organizing the race on site.
