Co-organized by SDPO and Phoenix Voyages Group, this 5th edition was once again a great success offering the trailers and walkers from 44 countries, excitements and wonderful memories between jungle, temple, rice fields and sporting challenge!

See you on the 16th and 17thof January 2021 for the 6th Edition of UTA 2021 with more new features.

A trail among the big ones

After only 5 years of existence, the Ultra-Trail of Angkor is now one of the most amazing races in Asia. Co-organized by SDPO and Phoenix Voyages, the Ultra-Trail of Angkor is one of the major trails and is, therefore, one of the events that allow to credit its points to the ITRA and UTMB rankings.

On the podiums are the famous faces and fans of this UTA.   Antoine Guillon, the winner of the Ultra-Trail World Tour 2015, exceeded his own record on the 128 km. Victory in 12:12' ahead of his friend Christophe Le Saux, the “Godfather” of the event who slowed down due to gastric concerns. On the women's side, Véronique Messina, a French expatriate in Cambodia, took the trophy once again in 17:30’. On the 64 km, Yohan Dercourt, from “Trace de Trail”, rushed to finish the race in 5:18’. Le Tan Hi, a Vietnamese runner beat the marathon trail with a time of 3:05’. The professional runners will have to agree that it will be tough to break his record in the next events, considering the difficulty of the circuit. On the 32 km, Laurie Phaï clocked in a new women's record of 2:42'.  After her father fled the Khmer Rouge regime, Laurie Phai discovered Cambodia for the first time when she participated in this event in 2017 and for the past 4 years, this French-Cambodian athlete comes here to live her "dream" for an "extraordinary, energizing, powerful” experience.
