Job Offer : Assistant Marketing Manager

Reporting To: Marketing Manager 

Main Role

Under the direct supervision of Director of Marketing & Production, this position will be in charge of:

Communication & PR

  • Serves as a primary contact for all media relations efforts; also creates and builds relationships with appropriate media contacts to generate significant coverage for Phoenix Voyages in international, local and online media.
  • Take part in the creation and update of all information and contents of the company’s publication, i.e. brochures, newsletters, CD-ROM, calendars, greeting cards, fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Take part in the implementation of marketing actions to stimulate the demand of all the markets (Inbound, networks, OVS, DSA).
  • Assist the Director of Marketing & Production in handling the requirements of trade shows, i.e., registration, promotional materials, preparation of marketing supports, etc.
  • Act as a link for the circulation of internal and external information between Phoenix Voyages, the media and other organizations.
  • Develop Phoenix Voyages’ presence on social networks and implement actions to increase the company’s visibility with E-Marketing Media (website, facebook…).

Website

  • Manage update of Phoenix Voyages website

Newsletter

  • Take part in the creation of Phoenix Voyages monthly Newsletters and Special Edition Newsletters (quarterly).
  • Overlook translation.

Marketing/MICE support

  • Translate/overlook translation of factsheets and other marketing materials.
  • Dispatch factsheet requests from sales to relevant staff for creation and/or translation

Other duties may be assigned from time to time in the event of increased workload.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Native French speaker. Fluent in spoken and written English, Spanish is a plus.
  • University graduate or higher education in Tourism with minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar job in a Travel agency or Hospitality industry preferred.
  • Serious, good team spirit, well organized and autonomous in the tasks.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook).
